FAIR AND SIMPLE
Refund Policy
This policy covers subscription fees paid directly to Root & Page. It does not cover books or other products bought from Amazon.
Effective and last updated: July 29, 2026Our promise
- Request a full refund of a Root & Page subscription charge within seven calendar days after the charge.
- Cancel at any time to stop the next renewal; your paid access normally continues through the current term.
- Amazon book returns and refunds must be requested from Amazon or the seller.
1. What this policy covers
This policy applies to monthly and annual Root & Page subscription fees charged by Half Media LLC after paid checkout is enabled. The free service does not create a charge and therefore has nothing to refund.
Books are purchased separately from Amazon or another listed seller. Root & Page does not receive the product payment and cannot issue a refund for the book, shipping, tax, or other seller charges.
2. Seven-day refund window
You may request a full refund of any Root & Page subscription charge, including an initial charge or a renewal charge, within seven calendar days after the charge date. You do not need to provide a reason.
The request must be sent before the seven-day window ends. We may ask for the email used at checkout and limited transaction information needed to locate and verify the payment.
3. After seven days
Subscription charges are generally nonrefundable after seven calendar days, and we do not normally provide prorated refunds for unused time. You will keep access through the end of the paid term after cancellation.
We will provide any refund or remedy required by law. We may also issue a full or prorated refund for a duplicate or unauthorized charge, a billing error, an extended material failure of the paid service, or another circumstance we determine is fair.
4. How to request a refund
- Email support@rootandpage.com with the subject “Refund Request.”
- Write from the email used at checkout when possible.
- Include the plan, charge date, and last four digits of the payment method only if needed. Never send a full card number or bank account number.
- We aim to acknowledge requests within two business days.
5. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Once submitted, banks and card networks often take 5 to 10 business days to display the credit; timing is controlled by the payment provider and your financial institution.
Refunding a charge may end paid access associated with that charge. We will tell you if and when access changes.
6. Canceling renewal
You may cancel at any time using the online subscription-management link provided with checkout or by emailing support@rootandpage.com. Online cancellation will be available without unnecessary steps. If canceling by email, contact us at least two business days before renewal so we have time to process the request.
Cancellation stops future renewal charges but is not, by itself, a request to refund a charge that has already occurred. If a renewal happens after you made a timely cancellation request, contact us and we will correct it.
7. Amazon purchases
For a book or other item purchased through an Amazon link, use the order and return tools in your Amazon account or contact the applicable seller. Amazon’s or the seller’s return policy controls that transaction. Root & Page’s affiliate commission does not change your purchase price or your rights with the seller.
8. Charge questions and contact
Please contact us before starting a chargeback so we can try to resolve a billing error or unauthorized charge promptly. This request does not limit any legal right you have with your card issuer or bank.
